B. General Dispositions

1. Authority
Any natural or legal person legally established, authorized and / or with jurisdiction to exercise sufficient control to ensure compliance with issues related to these policies, procedures, and amendments thereto, and any group of experts, arbitrator, agency or arbitral panel, to whom the parties had submitted in response to policies and procedures described here.

2. CcTLD
Abbreviations used to designate the names of top level domain, known as land codes (Country Code Top Level Domain). These acronyms refer to the classification in the Domain Name System, represented by a two-letter suffix, based on the ISO 3166-1 alpha 2.

3. Contacts
References created to facilitate administration of a domain name. There are four types of contacts for each domain name: registrant, administrative, technical, and payment. Each contact has assigned a unique ID.

4. Days
Are the terms defined as sites and days, being understood as calendar days or as expressly designated.

5. DNS
Abbreviations used to refer indistinctly to the Domain Name System and / or Domain Name Server. Domain Name System is a distributed system that provides for all the Internet correspondences (resolutions) between domain names and IP addresses. The Domain Name Server refers to PCs that are part of the Domain Name System and who host the information and processes for the establishment of connections (resolutions) between domain names and IP addresses.

6. Codes
Refers to the authorization codes assigned to a domain name which has used the following process: Registration, transfer, payment, modification and elimination.

7. State Domain
A domain registrar is considered to be in active state when it has enrolled at least one DNS and the payment is current. A domain registration is considered inactive if no DNS are registered and the payment is not current.

8. Domain Name
Is a sequence of characters or a common identifier to a group of computers or devices connected to the network. They are a simple way to address on the Internet, designed to allow users an easy way to locate websites. For this purpose, it only applies to domain names under the ccTLD. HN.

9. Policies

10. Registrant
Person or entity that has ownership of the domain name, to whom an identifier called REG-ID is assigned.

11. Register
Legal entity authorized by ICANN in accordance with the principles contained in RFC 1551: Domain Name System Structure and Delegation to manage domain names under ccTLD.HN.

12. Registrar

Accredited Natural or legal person by the RDS-HN, that distributes and provides registration services for domain names under the ccTLD. HN.

13. WHOIS
Tool that enables users to query a database system, everything related to domain names under ccTLD.HN (http://www.nic.hn).
