- The registration cost for new domains (since January 1, 2000) is of $100.00 or its equivalent in Lempiras including tax. This payment will be valid for two year beginning from the time the domain was registered. This payment is not refundable.
- The cost of maintenance is applied to all domain names, and its cost is of $50.00 including tax or its equivalent in Lempiras. This is an annual fee and should be paid at the time the domain name was registered. This cost of maintenance is not refundable.
The payment of the maintenance cost should be made during the last 30 days prior the expiration of the last payment. If payment is not received during this period of time, the domain will be eliminated from the domain database and a notification will be sent to the contacts of this domain.

PROCEDURES REQUIERED TO REGISTER DOMAINS UNDER HN
1. You must send by fax an application form in letterhead; it must be signed and sealed by the legal representation of the organization or company. This should include the name of the person who will manage the domain, specifying; the position the person has in the company, telephone, fax and e-mail.
