The overall objective of the RDS-HN is to "strengthen the capacity in public and private management of the sustainable development of Honduras through the promotion, dissemination and exchange of information, managed by the electronic communications network that make up the institutions, organizations and individuals working for sustainable human development in Honduras."

Legal Status The RDS-HN is a civil non-profit entity created by the Constitutional President of the Republic by Resolution No. 272-987 with operations registration RA0031 issued by the National Telecommunications Commission CONATEL and with national tax records YE13XU-B
